Arnside & Silverdale: In Pictures

The view we woke up to, from Arnside over the Kent estuary. The air was as cold as it looks, and you can just about make out the railway bridge that takes you to Grange-over-Sands.
Low mist shows up the contours out towards Shapdale.
The boardwalk at RSPB Leighton Moss becomes a water wonderland following weeks of heavy rain.
So close, and yet no cigar… birders in rubber boots traverse a flooded track at the reserve to spot bearded tits on the grit feeders, while we look on from a distance…
